The Security+ Training Portal is targeted for administrators with some experience in IT (preferably with some background in the basics of networking, IA principles, and security terminology). This program will help to prepare you for CompTIA's latest Security+ exam (SYO-201), but it should be used in conjunction with other relevant material (e.g., Sybex's textbook and Transcender's online test prep are good solutions).
This site will be updated periodically to include more and more relevant content. I intend to have quizzes for each of the 6 domains in the SYO-201 exam, a final practice exam of 100 questions (timed at 90 minutes like the real exam), and flashcards included to aid you in your studies. As of now, it is a work in progress, a mere shell of a program, so it's nowhere near complete.
